Endless Learning Apps by Originator

No comments:

Physical play and construction toys are great for kids but we can't deny the fact that technology has a place in their lives so as a parent I am fairly conscious about learning technology and software available to my son. So inline with offering meaningful experiences and activities I would like to introduce a new section called Apps for kids to keep our content diverse.

LEGO® CITY Fire Station 60004 Review

No comments:
LEGO® Fire Station 60004

With a piece count of 753 the LEGO® CITY Fire Station 60004 is our first CITY themed structure and I gotta say it's pretty big and probably one of the bigger sets among the CITY buildings and their toy line. Owning various CITY sets like the Auto Transporter 60060, Arctic Helicrane 60034 and Police Patrol 60045 our CITY collection is pretty all over the place but 60060 and 60034 were gifts while 60045 was an intended purchase as we needed some local law enforcers in our growing coastal town.

LEGO® Parisian Restaurant 10243 vs Pet Shop 10218 vs Grand Emporium 10211

No comments:

Here's my take on not one LEGO® Modular building but three of these Creator Exclusive sets; Grand Emporium (10211), Pet Shop (10218) and Parisian Restaurant (10243)

If you've stumbled across this article you're probably considering one of these three sets and hopefully they are still available at the time of this read. Furthermore one would by now have come across and read various reviews about each Modular set, since I was doing some sorting and organization of storage space I decide to do a review on the three we own.

Fun with LEGO Tree House 31010

No comments:

The idea of a Tree House always symbolises fun and adventure for children, the thought of having your own space high above everything and everyone else with all the supplies you need (at least you thought at that time) was every child's wish.

So I guess that's why the LEGO Tree House 31010 set won the 2013 Parents Best Toys award. Seeing that it was an inexpensive and small set I decided to get one for my son to play up the idea.

Teach an old bicycle new tricks

No comments:

I was seeking an entry level 12" bicycle for my son to pick up cycling some time back, naturally there we tons of options out there from affordable to expensive models but they all had something in common. They pretty much all came with a little too much bells & whistles and nasty colours along with awful graphics.

Light up your LEGO Town

No comments:

Here's a little gift of illumination for fellow LEGO town Mayors. LEGO officially produces Light Bricks (part# 4667622)  but are only available with relevant sets like the Creator Family House 31012. When I started the Lighthouse I was looking around for options of getting it lit up, that's when I stumbled upon this awesome little thing.

Muti-purpose kids activity table

No comments:

I've been looking around for an activity table for the kids and while there were various options out there there are a lot of hit and misses, single purpose oriented, expensive, lack functional and practical features.

10 LEGO® Architecture and Interior building tips

No comments:
Here are 10 useful building tips by the LEGO® Creator team.

These videos have been out for a while so I thought I'd compile and share the ones that I like for those interested and working on their own LEGO® Modular MOC.

There are other great videos out there as well but these tips offer simple principles for LEGO® architecture and interior, enough information to get started on your own creation.

Enjoy the videos and happy building.
