LEGO® Camper Van [City Garage 4207]

No comments:

In 2012 LEGO® released a really awesome LEGO® CITY set called the City Garage 4207, included in the set were 4 vehicles and one of them was this really cool retro Camper Van. My son really liked it so we decide to do a special Quick Look at the little vehicle; video included.

LEGO® Fire Station MOC

2 comments:

I've always thought a classic Fire Station modular would be a nice addition to our LEGO® town and with my multiple mentions of missing out on the LEGO® Fire Brigade 10197, I decided to fill the void by designing and creating one of our own.

LEGO® CITY City Garage 4207

No comments:

It's been a fun and exciting year and so far LEGO® has release a few pretty big & tall sets for kids and fans, starting the year with the LEGO® CREATOR Detective's Office 10246 at 27cm high, the LEGO® PIRATES Brick Bounty 70413 at 45cm high, then there's the recently announced LEGO® CREATOR Ferris Wheel 10247 towering at 60cm and soon we have the upcoming LEGO® CITY Space Port 60080 which while may only have a piece count of 586 it sure looks to be big and tall.

So with all these exciting big sets out and coming up this 2015 we thought we take a look back at a CITY set that not only had the size and height but an awesome amount of playability as well; the 2012 LEGO® CITY City Garage 4207.

LEGO® CREATOR Highway Pickup 7347

No comments:

Once in a while you come across a LEGO® set that you never thought existed and sometime back I came across a CREATOR set that I thought was a great set for the boys and their love for vehicles. So here's a look at the rather underrated LEGO® CREATOR 7347 Highway Pickup.

Building LEGO® Technic pull-back cars

No comments:

When I was sourcing bricks for the Fire Station I came across various used LEGO® Technic parts which I tend to stock up on as I have found them useful for certain LEGO® building techniques, most importantly I always thought having a descent collection of Technic parts would be awesome for the boys to have a go at building machines and mechanical toys once ready.

LEGO® CITY Arctic Helicrane 60034

No comments:
A regular day for the LEGO Arctic Helicrane 60034 team

Our adventures in LEGO to date have been centered around towns and CREATOR buildings and while we do have a few LEGO CITY Police and Fire Rescue sets we haven't paid much attention to the LEGO's Arctic sub theme. Not until my son received a LEGO City Artic Helicrane 60034 as a gift from one of his favourite uncles.

LEGO® CITY Fire Station 60004 Review

No comments:
LEGO® Fire Station 60004

With a piece count of 753 the LEGO® CITY Fire Station 60004 is our first CITY themed structure and I gotta say it's pretty big and probably one of the bigger sets among the CITY buildings and their toy line. Owning various CITY sets like the Auto Transporter 60060, Arctic Helicrane 60034 and Police Patrol 60045 our CITY collection is pretty all over the place but 60060 and 60034 were gifts while 60045 was an intended purchase as we needed some local law enforcers in our growing coastal town.

LEGO® Parisian Restaurant 10243 vs Pet Shop 10218 vs Grand Emporium 10211

No comments:

Here's my take on not one LEGO® Modular building but three of these Creator Exclusive sets; Grand Emporium (10211), Pet Shop (10218) and Parisian Restaurant (10243)

If you've stumbled across this article you're probably considering one of these three sets and hopefully they are still available at the time of this read. Furthermore one would by now have come across and read various reviews about each Modular set, since I was doing some sorting and organization of storage space I decide to do a review on the three we own.

Fun with LEGO Tree House 31010

No comments:

The idea of a Tree House always symbolises fun and adventure for children, the thought of having your own space high above everything and everyone else with all the supplies you need (at least you thought at that time) was every child's wish.

So I guess that's why the LEGO Tree House 31010 set won the 2013 Parents Best Toys award. Seeing that it was an inexpensive and small set I decided to get one for my son to play up the idea.

Muti-purpose kids activity table

No comments:

I've been looking around for an activity table for the kids and while there were various options out there there are a lot of hit and misses, single purpose oriented, expensive, lack functional and practical features.

10 LEGO® Architecture and Interior building tips

No comments:
Here are 10 useful building tips by the LEGO® Creator team.

These videos have been out for a while so I thought I'd compile and share the ones that I like for those interested and working on their own LEGO® Modular MOC.

There are other great videos out there as well but these tips offer simple principles for LEGO® architecture and interior, enough information to get started on your own creation.

Enjoy the videos and happy building.
